The facilities are type approved by the Veterinary Institute and have capacities of 0 &#8211; 500 m3\/hour.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Wafer series has medium-pressure lamps. With medium-pressure lamps, microorganisms do not restore viability and colony-forming ability when treated with exactly the same UV dose as with low-pressure UV. This is because medium-pressure UV breaks down an enzyme called photolyase that is found in all living organisms and promotes photo editing of damaged DNA.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>UV is a chemical-free method of disinfection that inactivates microorganisms, bacteria, pathogens and viruses, and saves the environment from the use of chemicals.
