In its efforts to strengthen its position in the supply of HDPE products to the aquaculture industry, Aquaservice AS has worked to implement the ISO 9001:2015 quality management system. The certification is now in place.
ISO 9001:2015 is an international standard for quality management. It describes the requirements for a quality management system (QMS) that helps organizations deliver products and services that consistently meet customer and regulatory requirements.
“The process has been long and instructive. It has been important for us to stress test, adapt, and adjust our systems and routines throughout this process, with solid results,” says Kristian Dyrhaug at Aquaservice.
Aquaservice AS is a Norwegian manufacturing company that specializes in the design and production of HDPE products, with a particular focus on the aquaculture industry. The company operates in an international market, with its head office in Western Norway and a sales office in the UK.
Over the past 40 years, Aquaservice has specialized in products for the aquaculture industry, ranging from automatic self-cleaning filters and UV systems to utility/infrastructure barges and HDPE-boats (HardRIB) – basically anything involving water for the aquaculture industry. All engineering and production is carried out at the 12,000 square meter factory in Straumgjerde in the municipality of Sykkylven.
